SquareQuote Help
Support
Use this page for SquareQuote purchase restoration, scanning help, OCR review questions, PDF/export help, local-data support, and TestFlight beta questions.
Restore purchases readiness
- Restore Purchases support is being prepared for StoreKit testing and future Apple review.
- When enabled, restoration should use the same Apple Account used for the original subscription.
- TestFlight beta testers can contact support if a StoreKit test entitlement does not resolve as expected.
Receipt scan and OCR help
- Use clear receipt images with the full receipt visible.
- Review OCR line items before continuing to markup or quote generation.
- If a row looks wrong, edit or remove it before saving the quote.
- If a supplier product or line item is missing, add it manually or rescan with a clearer receipt image.
PDF and export help
- Client quote PDFs are intended for customer-facing quotes.
- Monthly CPA exports package receipts, quotes, internal reports, and ledger data for the selected month.
- If a file is missing from an export, review the saved job history and receipt archive before exporting again.
Reset local data
- SquareQuote includes a local-data reset action for clearing app data from the device.
- Resetting local data may remove customers, jobs, receipts, quotes, PDFs, and usage counters stored locally.
- Review the confirmation alert carefully before completing a reset.
Subscription help
- Planned SquareQuote subscriptions are expected to use Apple in-app purchase.
- When subscriptions are enabled, Apple handles billing, renewal, and cancellation.
- Solo, Pro, and Business features are expected to depend on the resolved StoreKit entitlement state.
Local-first and privacy FAQ
- Receipt OCR is intended to run on device.
- Company, customer, job, receipt, quote, PDF, and export data are intended to remain local unless the user shares or exports them.
- SquareQuote does not use third-party ads or sell personal data.
- No cloud sync or backend account system is included unless it is added in a future version.
